Islam In Hindu Scriptures

Ever since the creation of man, God has revealed to him from time to time the message of Tawhid (oneness of God) and the enjoinment of righteousness. This was done through the medium of a long chain of prophets, the last being Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him). As such, all revealed religious carry the unitu of divine message with the common aim of guiding man to the objective of his existence. ISLAM IN HINDU SCRIPTURES attempts to draw similarities between the Qur'an and the Hindu scriptures with regard to the essence of the divine message. There are in the Hindu scriptures verses that carry similar meanings to those in the Qur'an which only points to the fact that their source must have been one God. Topics covered include the concept of one God and His attributes and other fundamental tenets of Islam such as prophethood and afterlife. It is hoped that ISLAM IN HINDU SCRIOTURES will be instrumental in driving home the unity of divine message from one God to the family of mankind.
