Di dalam memperkatakan perjuangaan Saad bin Abu Waqqas selama beliau hidup bersama-sama Nabi Muhammad saw tidaklah dapat disangsikan. Sejak beliau memeluk agama Islam, mengalami zaman penyiksaan ancaman keluarga terutama dari ibunya sendiri, sampailah beliau berhijrah dan turut menyertai peperangan bersama-sama Nabi Muhamamad saw. sehingga Nabi Muhamamad saw wafat tidak pernah beliau tidak hadir di sisi Nabi. Sebutlah di dalam medan yang mana Saad bin Abu Waqqas tidak dapat hadir berperang? Tak ada. Oleh sebab itulah Saad bin Abu Waqqas begitu tinggi darjat dirinya di sisi Allah dan Nabi Muhamamad saw.
